About Us

 Hello family, friends, and followers.  

We are about to embark out to a boating adventure.  Those of you who know us, know us well and are the first to visit this website.  You also know, and likely followed us as we lived and traveled aboard the VELVET SKY.  She was our sailboat and our home for some time.  If you would like to recap or perhaps get more acquainted with us you can revisit (or visit for the first time) a blog site, svvelvetsky.blogspot.com.  I believe it is still available for reading.       We have enjoyed being land lubbers in Parma Idaho for the last few years.  We have raised chickens, had cats, grew our garden annually (which taught us how to can and store fresh food for the winter), we have enjoyed a beautiful view of the valley form our living room windows and our lots of land.  We have spent valuable and forever cherished time with our family and loved ones.  We have created memories and had experiences that enriched our lives through and through.         Today, we are one week away from having our house packed up, a u-haul loaded with boat friendly supplies and household items.  We are headed to San Diego to move aboard our new home, it is a forty foot Nordhavn, born in 1999, and currently bears the name "Albatross."  We have given it the name, "TRULY.
